Mitten
The mitten is worked in rounds in double crochet stitches with a jump between rounds. Join the rounds with a slip stitch in first double crochet on working round. Leave the remaining loop on hook. Pick up 3 loops by inserting hook in 2nd to 4th dc on the last round and pulling up the yarn through these stitches like in Tunisian crochet. Thumb
Start crocheting the thumb on the right side of thumb opening for left mitten, and on the left side of thumb opening for right mitten. The thumb is worked in rounds in the same way as the mitten.
