Yarn: 100 % merino wool (superwash), 100 g = approx 365 m / 400 yards
Yarn Weight: Light Fingering / 3 ply
Yarn Amount: approx 30 g (all colors)
Crochet Hook: 3 mm or size needed to obtain the specified size of the flower
Measurements: flower – 4,5 cm in diameter; cuffs – 18 cm around, 12 cm long

Abbreviations:
ch, sl st – chain/chain stitch, slip stitch
sc, dc – single crochet, double crochet
(3 dc) – work all the stitches within parentheses in next stitch or as directed
sk 1 – skip the indicated amount of stitches
{ } – repeat instructions within braces as many times as directed
Flower (first time published 2013-02-18)
Use a new color for each round.
Round 1: ch 4, sl st in first ch to form ring, ch 2, 12 dc in ring, change to a new color before working the last yarn over for the last double crochet.
Round 2: Start working in first double crochet on round 1, { (sl st, ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, sl st), ch 1, sk 1 } 6 times, sl st in first sl st on working round. Cut the yarn, fasten off and weave in all ends.
Round 3: Attach a new color in last double crochet on round 1, ch 1, 1 sc in same dc where the yarn was attached - work over chain stitch on round 2, ch 2, (3 sc) in 1st dc and (3 sc) in 2nd dc in first petal, ch 2, { 1 sc in double crochet on round 1 between petals - work over chain stitch on round 2, ch 2, (3 sc) in 1st dc and (3 sc) in 2nd dc in next petal, ch 2 } 5 times, sl st in first sc on working round.
